WEST PALM BEACH, Fla – The Florida Southern Mocs dominated the game from start to finish on Saturday, pounding Palm Beach Atlantic 68-42 in the Rubin Arena on Saturday afternoon.

FSC scored the first three points of the game and never looked back from there, shooting 41.7% (25-for-60) from the field for the game, including 52.2% (12-for-23) from the field in the second half.

The Sailfish had only one player reach double-digits in the scoring column, with senior Lynsey Poole leading the way with 10 points. She has scored in double figures in each of PBA’s first six games. Fellow senior Ashley Dolberry finished the game with seven points, six rebounds, and three steals.

Palm Beach Atlantic shot just 31.3% (15-for-48) for the game, including 8.3% (1-for-12) from the three point line. The Mocs dominated the boards and the paint, out-rebounding the Fish 51 to 21, and scoring 36 paint points compared to PBA’s 22.

PBA falls to 1-5 on the young season, while Florida Southern has won four straight to improve their record to 4-3.

The Sailfish return to action on Monday, December 10th, taking on the Saint Leo Lions at home at 6 PM.
