Hogg Named NSCAA All-American First-Team

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Junior Kenny Hogg continues to pull in the individual accolades for his spectacular 2012 season, earning a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II All-American first-team. He is the first Sailfish men's soccer player ever named to the NSCAA All-American first-team.

Hogg led all divisions of the NCAA in goals and total points this season, finishing with an outstanding 29 goals scored and five assists for a total of 63 points. Kenny, who was also a member of the NSCAA South Region Team, was one of 13 members of the first team.

Student-athletes named NSCAA All-America will be recognized Saturday, Jan. 19 at the annual All-America Luncheon, held in conjunction with the 2013 NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis.

Hogg has also been named the Daktronics NCAA Division II Player of the Year, the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Year, and was selected to Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team.
