SAVANNAH, Ga. – Even with double-digit efforts from Lynsey Poole, Ashley Dolberry and Kristie Mason, Palm Beach Atlantic did not have enough firepower to down Armstrong Atlantic on Sunday afternoon, falling 77-64 to the Pirates.

The Sailfish trailed by just one at halftime, 36-35, but the Pirates used a 9-0 run to distance themselves and eventually lead to the victory.

Poole, who left the game with two minutes remaining because of injury, led the team in scoring with 20 points. She also pulled down four rebounds and dished out three assists.

Dolberry had her second double-double in as many games, finishing with 17 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. The senior went 7-for-7 from the free-throw line and also finished with a season-high four steals.

Mason put together another good shooting night, going 3-for-7 from beyond the arc and 5-for-10 on the game. The freshman finished with 15 points, her second straight double-digit game.

On the game, PBA shot 42.1% from the field and 30.8% from the three-point line. Armstrong Atlantic, though, faired even better, shooting 46% from the field and a whopping 43.3% from downtown. The Pirates held a slight edge in the rebounding margin, 38-35, and finished the game with 20 assists compared to the Sailfish 7.

Palm Beach Atlantic returns to action on Saturday, December 1st, against the Tampa Spartans at 2:00 pm.
