Women's Soccer to Play as No. 7 Seed at NCCAA Championship

GREENVILLE, S.C.- After winning the NCCAA South Region title over the weekend, the Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer team received news this week that they have been named the No. 7-seed for the upcoming NCCAA National Championship to be held in Kissimmee, Florida at the end of the month. The Sailfish will take a 13-4-1 record into the tournament as they will seek out their first-ever NCCAA title.
A total of eight teams will compete in the tournament that is set to take place at the Austin-Tindall Soccer Complex in Kissimeee.
The Sailfish will have a tough task in their first-round matchup as they will battle No. 2-seed and defending NCCAA champion, California Baptist University. The two teams will square off on Wednesday, November 28th at 12 pm.
The winner of the contest will challenge the winner of No. 3-seed Grace College and No. 6-seed Trinity Christian College.
Each team at the NCCAA Championship will play three matches over the course of Nov. 28-Dec. 1.
