GREENVILLE, S.C.- After a strong finish at her first cross country meet of the season last Friday at the UT Early Bird Invitational, Sailfish senior Faith Warren has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Runner of the Week for August 27-September 1. The honor is the first for Warren who helped lead PBA to a runner-up finish at their first race of the season.

Warren led three top-20 finishers for the Fish by placing third overall and just five seconds off the medalist winner.

Running the standard regular season race of a 5,000 meter course, Warren managed a time of 19:29 as her team finished with a team score of 95 points.

Warren is in her fourth season with the Sailfish from Henderson, Nevada.

The Sailfish cross country team will be back to work this weekend when they travel to Miami, Florida to participate in the Greentree Invitational on Saturday, September 8th at 7:30 am.
