St. Augustine, Fla.- Participating in day two of the Flagler College tournament on Saturday, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s soccer team faced off against NCAA Division I member Houston Baptist, ending in a 1-1 tie to take home to West Palm Beach.

“We played really well today, worked very hard in all aspects of the game,” said head coach Dwayne Whiteheart after the long day of soccer.

“We missed some open chances which could have won us the game but overall I was very pleased with our effort against such a quality opponent,” continued Whiteheart.

The tie brings PBA’s overall record to 5-9-2 on the season as they will now prepare for the NCCAA South regional tournament which they will take part in next weekend, November 9th and 10th, by traveling to Tigerville, S.C. and the campus of North Greenville University.

Official tournament pairings and game times will be released early next week.
