WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- With the start of the regular season less than two months away, Sailfish men’s soccer fans have begun to prepare themselves for what they hope to be another exciting season on the pitch. Head coach Jose Gomez announced his team’s season schedule on Friday with the campaign set to kickoff at the end of August with a trip to Colorado.

The team will host five matches at home this season while taking to the road for a total of 11 neutral site or away matches. The Sailfish finished 13-8-1 last season as they posted their sixth straight winning season under Gomez’ leadership.

The season will begin with a pair of games amidst the Rocky Mountains when the Fish battle NCAA Division II opponents, Adams State University on August 31st and Colorado Christian University on September 2nd. Both schools are members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and will welcome in the Fish for a Labor Day Weekend showdown.

Up next comes a pair of matches on the campus of Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida on September 7-8 as PBA will take on Ave Maria University and Anderson University (S.C.) for a pair of neutral site contests.

One more long weekend remains on the schedule for the Fish as they will travel north to Charlotte, North Carolina for a two-match swing to battle Queens University and Pfeiffer University on September 14th and 16th respectively.

After a quick turnaround for a road match at Nova Southeastern University on September 19th in Davie, Florida, the Sailfish will make their long-awaited home debut with a match against Barry University on September 26th followed by another home match versus Saint Leo University on September 29th.
