St. Thomas Pulls Out a Win Against Palm Beach Atlantic in Men's Tennis

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- The Sailfish men’s tennis team attempted to take down St. Thomas University on Wednesday in an afternoon matchup in Miami Gardens. Although the Fish would come out on top in two-of-three doubles matchups they would take only one singles contest as they lost 6-3 to the Bobcats. The loss dropped PBA to 5-9 on the season.

St. Thomas would fight back after Mick Lyons and Eric Wade produced an 8-4 win at No. 1-doubles and Luke Bolanos and Giuseppe Guarnieri earned an 8-2 win at No. 2-doubles.

The only win in singles for PBA came with Wade earning a victory at No. 4-singles when his opponent retired.

Up next for PBA includes a busy upcoming schedule which includes a trip to Atlanta, Georgia for a pair of matches.
