Palm Beach Atlantic and Lynn Baseball Halt Play After 13 Innings

BOCA RATON, Fla.- In what can only be described as a back-and-forth contest the Palm Beach Atlantic University and Lynn University baseball teams gathered on Friday afternoon for a matinee of baseball action at the McCusker Complex. With both teams holding leads late, the teams would not decide a victor on Friday as they game was suspended due to darkness following a 6-6 tie after 13 innings of play.

The two teams will resume the contest on April 17th when they battle again in Boca Raton.

The Sailfish (10-6) and No. 23-ranked Fighting Knights (14-7) will get together on Saturday for a regularly-scheduled double-header at the Santaluces Complex. The teams will begin play at 1 pm with a double-header scheduled to take place with the Sailfish as the home team.

The first game will be a nine inning contest followed by a seven inning affair.

All game statistics from Friday’s contest have been suspended along with the game until completion of the contest on April 17th.

Both games on Saturday will be broadcast on the Sailfish Sports Network. Live statistics will also be provided.
