HILTON HEAD, S.C.- Although the weather had mostly cooperated throughout their week-long stay in Hilton Head, South Carolina during their annual Spring Break trip, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis team did run into some challenging weather on Friday. The team did enough however to clinch a 5-0 win over Newberry College before the rains settled in.

The Fish were successful in all three of their doubles matchups on Friday as they earned 8-3, 8-1 and 8-6 wins respectively in doubles 1-3 as they moved quickly on to singles.

With the rains quickly approaching, the two teams agreed to call the match once the Fish had clinched the victory.

Natalia Trotter earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4-singles for Palm Beach Atlantic while freshman Vilja Vahatalo provided a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6-singles to lead PBA to another victory.
