Augusta State Defeats Palm Beach Atlantic in Men's Tennis Action

HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The No. 12-ranked team in the country in Augusta State University put a halt to Palm Beach Atlantic’s recent four-match win streak in men’s tennis as they handed the Sailfish an 8-1 defeat on Thursday in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The loss saw the Sailfish earn one victory in doubles while being swept in singles action.

The season record for PBA’s men’s tennis team now stands at 4-6.

The only win for PBA on Thursday came at No. 2-doubles as senior Luke Bolanos and freshman Giuseppe Guarnieri teamed up to earn an 8-3 win.

The Fish will battle St. Joseph’s College on Friday while rounding out their Spring Break trip with an 8:30 am match on Saturday, March 10th versus Limestone College.
