SKILLMAN, N.J.- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released their national women’s tennis rankings on Wednesday with the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis squad earning a No. 22 national ranking. With wins under their belt against previous top-25 teams like Florida Tech and Flagler College, the Sailfish have put together some great success in the early portion of their season schedule.

Now ranked No. 7 in the NCAA South Region, quite arguably the strongest region in the country in tennis, the Fish have reached a program high in both the regional and national rankings for women’s tennis.

The team’s only losses have come to Saint Leo University and perennial power, Lynn University.

The squad is gearing up for a busy week ahead as both the men’s and women’s tennis teams will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina over spring break to compete against five different opponents.

The women will open up on Sunday, March 4th when they will battle Michigan Tech at the VanDer Meer Tennis Courts at 2:30 pm.
