Sailfish Victorious in Battle Against Bentley

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-  Taking to the court for the second time in as many days, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team (10-6) posted a solid campaign over visiting Bentley University out of Boston Massachusetts. Only surrendering a pair of matches in both doubles and singles action, the Sailfish came out on top 7-2 over the Falcons on a beautiful Friday afternoon at Gaines Park.

The number one and three singles players in Krasimir Atanasov and Luke Bolanos took care of business in their single matches before teaming up for an easy 8-0 sweep in #1 doubles action. Also winning in doubles were partners Alex Minicozzi and Bastian Guenther at the #2 slot with a 9-7 score over their Falcon counterparts. Minicozzi and Guenther made quick work in their singles matches posting  6-0, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-1 scores.

The #41 ranked Sailfish will return to action for the third time this week when Saint Leo University visits West Palm Beach tomorrow afternoon for a 1 pm start at Gaines Park.
