Sailfish Hand Young Harris College a Lopsided Loss

HILTON HEAD, S.C.- Outside of a loss at #2-doubles the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team managed an easy win on Wednesday as they totaled eight wins against only one loss in a match versus Young Harris College (Ga.) on their Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. The win brings PBA’s record to 8-4 on the season.
Ranked #24 nationally among NCAA Division II singles players, PBA’s Krasimir Atanasov breezed through his #1-singles match as he posted a 6-2, 6-1 win while teaming with Luke Bolanos as part of the #17 nationally ranked doubles groups at #1-doubles for an 8-2 win.
Cole Conley and Jonathan Kalis each made a nice showing at #3-doubles with an 8-3 win while no PBA singles player dropped more than two games in any of their action on Wednesday.
The Fish will be back to the court on Thursday, March 10th when they square off against Eastern Nazarene University at 3:30 pm.
