Lady Sailfish Post 8-1 Win Over West Chester at Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis team tallied an 8-1 victory on Monday morning in their second match in Hilton Head, South Carolina as part of their week-long trip to the resort area to participate in daily tennis matches. The Lady Sailfish registered Monday’s win over West Chester University to improve to 7-4 on the season.

The only loss for PBA came at #3-doubles as the Fish inserted freshmen Maria Jimenez and Liddy Robinson into the lineup to try their hand at doubles action.

Victoria Baca and Natalia Trotter teamed up once again at #1-doubles for an 8-4 win while Jordan Ittersagen and Katie Livesay made good at #2-doubles with a 9-7 win.

Krishna Domenech put forth the most dominating win in singles action with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #6-singles.

The Fish will be back to the court on Wednesday, March 9th when the team takes on Young Harris College at 8:30 am.
