WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- After dropping their battle with #5 ranked Lynn University last weekend, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men's tennis team retaliated with a 9-0 campaign over visiting Saint Vincent University on Thursday afternoon. Opening play at their home court located at Gaines Park, the Sailfish had to finish their match at South Olive due to inclement weather. Rainfall was no deterrent for the Blue and White, however, as all six members dominated in their singles competitions and the doubles teams finished 8-1, 8-0, and 8-1 respectively.

Playing at the No. 1 singles position this afternoon, junior Luke Bolanos made quick work of his opponent with a 6-0, 6-0 score over the Bearcats Dan Chirdon. Also taking straight set, 6-0 victories in singles competitions were #4 Evan Sahlman and #6 James Verd.

After a busy start to their early season, the Sailfish squad will take a much deserved break before returning to action next week as they participate in their annual week-long spring break action in Hilton Head, South Carolina beginning Monday, March 7. Both the men's and women's teams will open up with 8:30 am matches against West Chester University.
