GREENVILLE, S.C.- A week after scoring a pair of goals in each of her team’s victories, Palm Beach Atlantic University senior forward Angie Kuhn has been named the NCCAA National Player of the Week for the week of September 13-19. The Fort Meyers, Florida native has led the Sailfish to a 4-2 start of the 2010 season including a 2-1 mark last week.

After a tough road loss to start the week against Barry University, the Sailfish were led by Kuhn the very next night as they traveled to Ave Maria University where they completed a 6-0 win including a pair of goals from Kuhn.

On Saturday, the Fish returned to the pitch as they hosted Eckerd College in an important NCAA South Region contest where the Blue and White were able to secure a 3-0 win over the visiting Tritons. Kuhn would once again play a big factor in the win as she delivered the game-winner in the 41st minute then added a second score in the 84th minute to ice the victory.

Kuhn currently leads the Sailfish with five goals scored while tying for the team lead with three assists through the first six games.
