WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Joining the likes of other newcomers like Chevron Gockmann, Cole Conley, and Evan Sahlman, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis program and head coach Chi Ly have announced another incoming player in the form of Eric Wade. A native of Woodbury, Connecticut, Wade provides the Sailfish another strong incoming player to go along with the rest of the squad who will look to defend their 2010 NCCAA National Championship.

The number one singles player at Nonnewaug High School, Wade competed on the court for head coach Nick Sheikh while establishing himself as a potential college prospect.

Having held the top spot for the NHS Chiefs as both a junior and senior, Wade culminated both seasons as a Berkshire League All-Star as he closed out his prep career in fine fashion.

Wade will join his new teammates in just a few short weeks as he will make the trip south to enroll at PBA for the fall semester and begin his journey as a varsity student-athlete.

Eric is the son of Keith and Hedy Wade and has three siblings: Keith, Collin, and Katie.
