LAKELAND, Fla.- Dropping only a few select games along the way, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team stormed past Emmanuel College on Friday afternoon to claim the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region championship in dominating fashion with a 9-0 win over the Lions. The Sailfish will now compete at the NCCAA National Championships in Mobile, Alabama later this month.
Having not played a competitive match in nearly three weeks, the well rested Sailfish (9-8) produced a pair of dominating wins in doubles followed by even more consistent play by their individual players in singles action.
