Windy Contest Leaves Sailfish on the Short End Versus Flagler

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- Coming back to the state of Florida after a long and successful trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina over Spring Break, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis got off to a bit of a rocky start on Saturday afternoon with a 5-1 defeat to the hands of Flagler College.

With the loss, PBA’s up-and-down season continues as their record drops back to .500 at 6-6.

The Sailfish lone victory came from the number one singles spot which saw freshman Lina Rubiano come through with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Chelsi DeCuba.
