Lady Sailfish Unable to Top Middlebury in Women's Tennis

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Taking on a nationally-ranked Middlebury University squad at Gaines Park on Tuesday afternoon, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis team was unable to slow down the 15Th-ranked MC squad of the NCAA Division II ranks. The Fish battled hard but came out on the losing end by a final tally of 8-1.
Welcoming in a few Spring Break visitors over the next few days, the Fish will also take on Trinity University of Connecticut on Wednesday afternoon.
The lone winner for PBA against Middlebury came at #2-singles when senior Natalie Aleman tallied an impressive 6-2, 6-1 win.
All other games went the way of MC including #6-singles that saw PBA’s Krishna Domenech push her opponent to three sets before falling 2-6, 6-3, 8-10.
