Sailfish Men's Tennis Bounces Back with Victory Over Saint Cloud State

ORLANDO, Fla.- After dropping a tough decision to McKendree University (Ill.) on Tuesday afternoon, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team fired back with a vengeance on Wednesday as they tallied an impressive 8-1 win over Saint Cloud State University (Minn.) in Orlando.

The win pushes PBA’s overall record to 7-3 with them now preparing for Grand Valley State University (Mich.) on Wednesday.

Krasimir Atanasov once again gave the Sailfish a strong #1-option as he led his doubles-team along with partner Luke Bolanos to a 8-3 win at #1-doubles while earning a #1-singles victory also with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.

After #2-doubles partners Frankie Moulton and Tyler Dealy were handed a hard 8-0 loss the team’s third doubles pair of Corey Kuglin and Nick Hines made good on their work with a thrilling 9-8 (3) win to go up 2-1 going into singles.

After Atanasov’s impressive showing, Alex Minicozzi followed up at #2-singles with a 6-2, 6-0 win while Bolanos defeated his counterpart at #3-singles by a tally of 6-3, 6-1.

Moulton, Dealy, and Kuglin all made quick work of their opponents to close out the 8-1 win for PBA.
