Sailfish Women's Tennis Posts 9-0 Win Over Malone University

ORLANDO, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis team won their second straight match during their Spring Break trip to Orlando, Florida with a 9-0 victory over Malone University on Tuesday afternoon. The Sailfish had little trouble with the Pioneers as no game went more than two sets while the Sailfish won all three doubles games with relative ease.

Natalie Aleman and Amber Braaten teamed up at #2-doubles and completed their match first with an 8-0 win followed by Jordan Ittersagen and Krishna Domenech at #3-doubles with an identical 8-0 victory. Lina Rubiano and Natalia Trotter took a bit more time at #1-doubles but still came through with an 8-3 victory.

Aleman won at #2-singles in straight sets as did Ittersagen and Domenech at #5 and #6-singles. No other game went for more than four points for Malone as the Sailfish cruised.

PBA will next take on Saint Cloud State University of Minnesota  on Wednesday, March 10th at 8 a.m.
