Men's Tennis Dominates Minnesota State-Mankato with a Shutout

ORLANDO, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s tennis team continued to shine on Monday morning as they took on their second opponent on Spring Break with a matchup against Minnesota State-Makato. The Fish had little trouble as they tallied an easy 9-0 win. The victory moves PBA to 6-2 on the season.

Krasimir Atanasov and Luke Bolanos got the match started at #1-doubles with a dominating 8-2 win followed by two similar games at #2 and #3-doubles with the Fish coming out on top 8-5 and 8-2 respectively.

Atanasov continued his good work at the top of the singles competition as well with a straight set victory at 6-0, 6-0 while Alex Minicozzi did nearly as well with a 6-1, 6-0 win.

Bolanos took a bit more time but still managed a 6-4, 6-0 victory at #3-singles while Frankie Moulton showed a strong performance at #4-singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win.

Senior Tyler Dealy and freshman Corey Kuglin closed things out at #5 and #6-singles with 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 7-5 wins respectively.

Ranked #36 in the latest NCAA Division II polls, Palm Beach Atlantic will next square off against McKendree University on Tuesday, March 9th at 11 a.m.
