BOCA RATON, Fla.- For the second straight day a Palm Beach Atlantic University tennis team traveled the short distance to Boca Raton to take on a top 3-ranked Lynn University squad at the new Perper Tennis Complex on LU’s campus. Thursday’s match featured PBA taking on the #2-ranked Fighting Knights who came away with an identical result as the men’s match the day before with a 9-0 win over the Fish.

Without #1-singles player Lina Rubiano because of illness, the Fish were shorthanded as they took on the Knights with only five players. LU picked up wins at #3 doubles and #6 singles by default.

The Knights put four top-40 ranked players in their first four slots highlighted by #11-ranked Katerina Jiskrova and #19-ranked Eleonora Iannozzi taking the first two sets against the likes of PBA’s Natalie Aleman (6-3, 6-0) and Natalia Trotter (6-1, 6-1) respectively.

Palm Beach Atlantic (0-4) will look for their first win of the season on Saturday, February 20th as they take on Brandeis University beginning at 1 p.m.
