JUPITER, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University home baseball season will need to wait another day to begin officially as today's action versus Florida Tech at Roger Dean Stadium was halted due to terrential rains that fell in Jupiter this evening.

The game reached the bottom of the second inning with FIT leading 1-0 on a Gus Fernandez solo homerun off PBA's Buddy Fisher in the first inning. PBA was threatning in the bottom of the second inning with Neil Hardon stepping to the plate when the rains became to hard to continue play.

The game will be resumed sometime in April at Dave Manzo Field at Dick Brown Park. Stay tuned for www.pbasailfish.com for more details.
