WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- With the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) regional and potential national tournaments looming, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer team continues to prepare for what they hope to be a successful postseason run within the NCCAA tournaments. PBA is coming off a solid showing in the NCAA South Region which landed them a final NSCAA regional ranking of sixth, putting them just outside a possible NCAA regional berth.
With the NCAA South Region compiling some of the toughest teams in the country, including three teams in the top-25 national poll, a sixth place finish in the region was certainly a solid showing.
Four teams from the Sunshine State Conference were selected for the NCAA Regional after Barry University claimed a spot via their run to the SSC Tournament championship. Rollins College, the University of Tampa, and Lynn University were also selected.
The University of West Florida finished fifth in the regional poll followed by Palm Beach Atlantic.
PBA stands at 8-5-2 and will next compete at the NCCAA Regional Tournament on the campus of Emmanuel College on November 20th and 21st. Stay tuned to pbasailfish.com for further details regarding the Sailfish postseason run.
