WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Junior Angie Kuhn, of North Fort Meyers, Florida, was recently recognized by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) as the National Player of the Week for women’s soccer. Kuhn factored in all three goals in PBA’s recent victory over Florida Southern College with two goals and one assist.

One of few true upperclassman on this year’s Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer team, Kuhn has helped get her team off to a solid start as they currently stand at 4-3. This solid start has also landed the Sailfish in the NSCAA regional poll for the first time in their short NCAA Division II history as they hold a ninth place rating as of this week.

Against FSC, Kuhn received assists from freshman Ashley Shoaf on her two goals, both of which were headers. Kuhn assisted freshman Jennie Weil on the team’s other score.

Angie is the daughter of Jack and Pam Kuhn.
